Smetana International Piano Competition
The Pilsen Conservatory has been the organiser and guarantor of the Smetana International PianoCompetition since 2002. This is one of the largest piano competitions in the Czech Republic. Several dozen top young pianists from all over the world come to Pilsen every two years. In the final round, the competitors will play a selected piano concertos together with the Pilsen Philharmonic under the baton of Miriam Němcová.
